Brief Bio
My current research focuses on identifying vulnerable communities for infectious disease outbreaks and health disparities in vaccination uptake using quantitative methods to aid public health decision-making. I look at both individual-level and neighborhood-level factors, with my focus being on achieving vaccine equity. I also evaluate statistical place-based measures of vulnerability (indices) to understand their use in scarce resource allocation and planning in the COVID-19 pandemic.
