Brief Bio

I am a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, as well as a Research Scientist with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Center for Injury Research and Prevention and the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP). Currently, I serve as the Co-Director of CVP’s Community Violence and Trauma Support programs, including CHOP’s Violence Intervention Program, a hospital-based violence intervention program providing community-focused recovery support for violently injured youth and their families. In that role, I oversee the development and implementation of the Violence Intervention Program’s data collection, program evaluation, and research efforts. I also am actively engaged in several community-based participatory research partnerships to support development, implementation, and evaluation of community-focused violence prevention programs.
