I am a retired Captain in the US Public Health Service and served for over two decades at the US Department of Health and Human Services and the US State Department at lots of places with acronyms (CDC, FDA, ACF, USAID). I had loads of fun, met amazing people, learned a lot and did good work. I continue to serve in ways to strengthen the resilience of public health systems, explore new domains of health services research, and improve outcomes domestically and abroad.
