How to Give Back
Below, you’ll find a variety of different mechanisms for financially supporting the incredible work of training the next generation of public health professionals. No matter how much, every dollar supports MPH students.
This fund supports the Whitney Ann Buckholz Scholarship, awarded to an incoming MPH student who best represents the ideals of Whitney through extensive community engagement prior to graduate school. Whitney was an MPH alumna remembered as a strong, creative student. She embraced challenges, looking for ways to learn and contribute to the health of communities. To date, this fund has supported three MPH students.
Donate HereThis fund supports global health travel for MPH students, with an emphasis on global health programs or research that works towards lowering barriers to care and making health care more accessible. Tolu was both an MPH alumna and teaching faculty in the program, and this fund honors her legacy in perpetuity and continues her mission to advance health equity and support emerging global public health leaders.
Donate HereThis fund supports the MPH Racial Justice Fellowship for current MPH students. The fellowship supports the MPH Program’s ongoing commitment to advancing anti-racism by allowing students to propose projects that enhance the MPH curriculum. To date, this fund has supported initiatives to train students and faculty about unconscious bias, as well as projects that have added new didactics to MPH classes.
Donate HereThis fund is used primarily to support student-centered initiatives, including financial support for Capstone Projects and travel to conferences. Capstone Grants of up to $300 can be used to offset the costs of doing your Capstone project, including but not limited to, small participant incentives, transcription costs, the cost of purchasing data, etc. Conference Grants of up to $750 can be used to offset the cost of registration and other travel and presentation expenses for work related to their Capstone Project or Applied Practice Experience.
